This prayer resource book offers a series of simple activities and reflections for young people of secondary school age. It brings together the Church traditions of praying with the body and with the heart. The swatch also offers a creative spiritual use of recent insights into kinaesthetic learning and brain gym exercises. The prayers are designed to be used during the day in large groups, small groups or individually. The swatch can be given to an individual to choose a prayer or the leader may select an appropriate prayer for that day. Reading the swatch one way opens up activities and reflections that lead from life experience into prayer. Reading the swatch in the opposite direction opens up thirty ways of praying with the body.

We bought Swatch & Pray to reaffirm our departmental policy of saying meaningful prayers before each lesson. It has since become so much more than a
prayer aid. Sure the children love to select a prayer and some like to read them out but the best aspect are the prayers with actions. During a
particularly stressful day I like to read the prayer where you have to put your troubles in your cupped hands and them blow them away after reading
a reflection. We link the prayers into our weekly lesson themes. Children have their favourite prayers and sometimes they request them. This
resource has proven to be very tactile and is a great aid to allow for a calm start to a lesson. the reflections are meaningful, thought provoking
and to the point.Swatch and Pray is a resource that allows you to pray with children of all ages in a "cool" and enjoyable way.Well worth the
