Our Colourful Church Year

We love to celebrate. We all remember birthday parties, with our parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends. In every season the Church gives us special feast days. In Spring we celebrate Easter. In Summer we celebrate the feast of Our Lady’s Assumption into Heaven. In Autumn, when all the fields are full of ripe fruit and vegetables, we celebrate the Harvest Festival. In Winter we celebrate Christmas.

Our Colourful Church Year helps children appreciate the Christian origins of so many secular holidays. The text of this book has been adapted by Kathleen Pearce, the author of our best selling book Rosie goes to Church. Children will enjoy reading this book.
